NFAI-Permethrin, Non Flammable Aircraft Insecticide Permethrin, is a non-flammable aircraft approved insecticide compliant with international Health regulations and WHO’s recommendations for biosecurity aircraft disinsection. It is used for Pre-embarkation aircraft disinsection method

Disinsection of the cabin and cockpit areas.

Product suitable for use in confined spaces.

Insecticide to be used in accordance with WHO’s recommended disinsection procedure ‘pre-embarkation” disinsection method.

Ensure all overhead and side wall lockers are left open.

Hold one can of PSA NFAI-Permethrin and start spraying from the back of the aircraft, moving forward keeping the can at arm’s length.

Direct the can to the open overhead lockers and ceiling, keeping a steady walking pace, no more than one step or one row per second.

Once this side is complete, switch across to the other side of the aisle, spraying all the way until you reach the rear of the aircraft. If more than one can is required for treatment, follow the same method by holding one can in each hand. If four cans are required, two crew members should carry out this treatment.

Spray all galleys, lift access areas, lavatories, coat lockers, crew rest areas, using an up and down motion for three seconds.

The flight deck will also need to be sprayed for three seconds. Be sure to direct the spray away from aircraft equipment.

Do not spray directly on food, food preparation areas or food utensils.

“One Shot” Aerosol: Depress tab firmly on spray nozzle until it locks down.

“Multi-shot” Aerosol: Depress tab on spray nozzle until complete discharge or until right quantity is released. Press the nozzle; walk through the compartment holding the aerosol vertical until it is completely empty.

Application rate as per WHO recommendations: 35g to treat 100 m3.

Flow rate: Between 0.8 & 1.2 g/s as per WHO recommendations.
